Don’t get it twisted. We can’t blame our lack of a relationship with God on other people or other churches. The enemy of your soul is out to kill and destroy you. If the enemy of your soul gets you to latch onto (without letting go) everything that the world says to you, or what the church people did to you, then he can make you into his puppet. So many people out here believing everything that is posted, shared, tweeted, etc. But you struggle believing in God and in the Word of God? You believe everything that comes out of a man or woman’s mouth like it’s the gospel itself.

Since the beginning of time, the enemy has tried to lure us into places that sometimes don’t even exist. Promise us things that aren’t his to promise.

Sometimes we let our thoughts go wild, believing everything and everybody but God.

God said that HE is the way. But we give way to all this nonsense that goes on around us and in this fallen world.

The enemy wants you to fight battles that are worthless in the end. The real problem, is we have left God on the outside. Why? Because church people hurt us? Because it FEELS better to blame? Because reading a news article or watching a news station about something is easier to believe than in what the Word says.

Many will be deceived. Many will fall.

Look at the people you surround yourself with. Do they lead you to a place where you will find honest answers, sometimes hard answers? Or do they fuel the nonsense that was fed to you.

No man or woman will give me peace or security. That will only come from God.

You can’t fight battles if you don’t have a sword to fight with (the Word). Learn how to use your sword, so you can fight properly.

Now, before rolling your eyes, take a deep breath.
